SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Release of Easement for Ingress and Egress at Beth Shields Middle School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Hillsborough County has been working with a developer to convert Beth Shields Way from an ingress/egress easement to the South Shore Library and Shields Middle School into a public right-of-way.  The roadway will be improved by the developer and dedicated as a County right-of-way to provide direct ingress/egress from the residential subdivision to the school and library with improved traffic circulation and roadway conditions.  As a matter of housekeeping, the School Board will relinquish the access easement which will no longer be necessary for a public road.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
Approval of the Release of Easement for ingress and egress at Beth Shields Middle School will have no financial impact to the School Board of Hillsborough County.
