SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Title Change of Two Positions with New Job Descriptions: Coordinator - African American & Multicultural Outreach, and Coordinator - Hispanic & Multicultural Outreach; as well as, Approve the Revised Reorganization Chart to reflect these Positions and Connect the District Resource Teacher with the Workforce/Title 1 Division (Outreach and School Improvement) Revised Attachments
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The reorganization chart and subsequent job descriptions notate the new naming of the divisional coordinators.  The placement of the coordinator units at each of the Full Service Centers supports a more equitable distribution of staff, as well as a responsiveness that will meet the shifts in demographics and potential needs to students, schools, and family in the community.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Recruit, support, and retain a highly effective and diverse workforce • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
