EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Collegiate Academy of Leto High School, Armwood High School, and Lennard High School saw their inaugural graduating classes receive the Associate of Arts (AA) degrees from Hillsborough Community College (HCC) on Friday, May 5, 2017.  The first cohort of this magnet program totaled 119 graduates.  These Collegiate Academy students not only have completed successfully the requirements for a high school diploma, but also have met all requirements of the district and HCC to obtain their AA degrees.

These magnet students received their degrees nearly two weeks before receiving their high school diplomas.  They joined students from HCC for the ceremony, held at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

These students had to apply and be accepted to the Collegiate Academy during their 8th grade year and were required to maintain a 3.0 grade point average or higher in order to remain in the Collegiate Academy throughout high school.  They have exhibited exceptional commitment to academics while participating in activities such as sports, clubs, student government, and other extra-curricular activities in their school and their community.
