Approve Technical Services Contract with Henry Menendez (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On December 14, 2004, the School Board approved the technical service contract with Henry Menendez in the support of implementation of the Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Henry has been instrumental in the support and integration of the legacy Personnel/Payroll system and in working with staff development data issues while the Staff Development department works to implement and integrate the new Staff Development system with Lawson. Henry's services are required to help complete the integration processes of these systems.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Goal 2.b.6: Implement a system-wide paperless procedure for notification of new hires to the program area supervisory staff, certification office, and staff development.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The cost for this technical service contract is $14,000. Funding for these expenses is from the District's 5-year Technology budget, project 5002.
