On September 7, 2004, the Board appointed Schenkel Shultz Architecture and Turner Construction to provide design and construction management services for classroom additions at Boyette Springs, Cimino, Kingswood, Riverview, and Ruskin Elementary Schools. These additions are necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. The scope of work provides for the construction of 16 additional classrooms at Boyette Springs, Cimino, and Ruskin Elementary Schools, and 10 additional classrooms at Kingswood and Riverview Elementary Schools.

This change order provides for omission of downspout connections to underground storm waterline at Kingswood and Riverview Elementary Schools, additional fire line work at Kingswood Elementary School as required by Hillsborough County, and repair and rerouting of 2" waterline connections at Riverview Elementary School.

These items are included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids (Boyette Springs, Cimino, Riverview, and Ruskin Elementary Schools) and Certificates of Participation Series 2001 (Kingswood Elementary School).
