EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the architectural firm of Long and Associates Engineers/Architects, Inc. On November 16, 2004, the Board accepted the low bid of Schnell Contractors. This project provided reinforcement of the exterior veneer split-block walls to preclude additional wall failures.
Change Order No. 1 provides for removal and replacement of all vertical expansion wall joints on entire campus with approved backer rod and sealant. Change Order No. 2 provides for exterior painting of roof and metal columns of Building 300, roof and block exterior of Concession Building, and roof and exterior walls of Driver's Education Tower. A 14 day time extension is also included for rain days.
The architect advises that the referenced project is substantially complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
