SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Rowe Architects. On February 25, 2005, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Turner Construction. This new facility will relieve overcrowding at Apollo Beach and Ruskin Elementary Schools.
Approval of the schematic design will allow the architect to proceed with design development. Project completion is scheduled for October 2006.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction budget is $9,746,770. The estimate of probable cost is $9,797,859. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 04C and Classrooms for Kids.
