These projects were planned by the architectural firm of Fleischman Garcia Architects. On January 13, 2004, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Kalemeris Construction, Inc. The scope of work includes the renovation of existing facilities and the addition of 10 primary classrooms which will be added to meet class size reduction requirements. In addition to the general renovation of all facilities, the renovation will include the redirection of storm waters from interior courtyard swales to retention ponds and filling in the deep swales. Exterior doors will be replaced and all door swings corrected to meet ADA requirements. Existing gang restrooms will be renovated and the entire HVAC system will be upgraded. A new acoustical ceiling system will be installed to assist with the installation of the new HVAC system. Windows will be added to Buildings 9 and 10 for ventilation and emergency egress.

These change orders provide credits to the Direct Purchase Program.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

These items are included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction for the renovation and remodeling and Classrooms For Kids (CFK) for the CFK addition.
