EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
An evaluation of the program resulted in twenty-one out of the twenty-nine business training sites (72%) responding and completing the Community-Based Training Business Partnership Evaluation. The participating businesses rated students on their performance based on the following criteria: students’ appropriateness for training site, students’ ability to perform assigned tasks, students’ overall behavior, students’ dress and hygiene, and overall program effectiveness.
The ratings from the businesses overall produced positive outcomes in each of the areas: 70% of the students were rated above average in the five areas previously listed, 27% of the students were rated satisfactory in the five areas, only 3% were rated as needing improvement.
A copy of the evaluation used by the businesses is attached.
