APPROVAL OF DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Rowe Architects. On June 7, 2005, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Mathews Construction. This new facility will relieve overcrowding at Apollo Beach and Ruskin Elementary Schools.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Construction budget is $10,192,103. The estimate of probable cost is $10,192,103. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 04C and Classrooms for Kids.
