EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On September 7, 2004, the Board appointed Long & Associates and R.J. Bunbury Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services for classroom additions at Crestwood, Egypt Lake, Mendenhall, and Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary Schools. These additions are necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. The scope of work provides for the following additions: 20 classrooms at Crestwood, 12 classrooms at Egypt Lake, 14 classrooms at Mendenhall, and 16 classrooms at Tampa Bay Boulevard. Due to budget and cost issues, Roosevelt Elementary school will be handled separately.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facilities. Completion is scheduled for May 30, 2006.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $8,125,386. The construction budget is $8,125,386. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids.
