APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - $125,961.00 EXTRA

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Long & Associates, Inc. On November 18, 2003, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Hardin Construction. This new facility is a reuse of the Shields Middle School design. As of the current boundaries, relief will be provided for Benito and Liberty Middle Schools.

This change order provides for excavation of clay soils determined to be unsuitable to support a building. The excavated soils will be replaced with fill dirt.
