EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the firm of Wilder Architecture, Inc. On January 13, 2004, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Allstate Construction, Inc. The scope of work provides for renovations to the original building to include replacement of HVAC, ITV, security, and fire protection systems, flooring, ceilings, doors, hardware, and stained glass windows, reinstallation of windows and lighting to match the original in appearance, asbestos abatement, insulation of the attic and crawlspaces, repair of gutters and downspouts, renovations to the kitchen servery area, and the addition of data, intercom, fire alarm, and security systems for the classroom portables.
This change order provides for additional costs incurred as a result of concealed and unknown conditions encountered during the renovation.
