Approval of Addendum Agreement to Hillsborough School Employees Federation Contract.

The attached agreement on changes to Section 20.12 of the Hillsborough School Employees Federation Contract has been negotiated to be implemented in the 2005-08 School District of Hillsborough County / Hillsborough School Employees Federation Contract. This change was negotiated to reflect changes in Florida Statute 1003.32 - (Each district school board, each district school superintendent, and each school principal shall fully support the authority of teachers, according to s. 1003.32, and school bus drivers to remove disobedient, disrespectful, violent, abusive, uncontrollable, or disruptive students from the classroom and the school bus and, when appropriate and available, place such students in an alternative educational setting).

Goals 2, 3, 4, and 5 - Critical Success Factors 2.b, 3.b, 4.c, an 5.a. -- Recruit and retain highly qualified teachers.
