Approve Letter of Engagement with Carlton Fields for Legislative Consulting Services - $35,000 (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The 2006 Legislative Session promises to deal with many issues related to education. Because of the variety of issues facing schools, additional technical assistance is needed by the School District in dealing with the executive and legislative branches of government.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The School District of Hillsborough County will be billed a total of $35,000 by Carlton Fields Government Consulting. This is payable $5000 monthly December 31, 2005, through June 30, 2006. In addition, the School District will be responsible for customary charges for expenses related to this engagement and for disbursements incurred by the firm on behalf of the School District.
