Accept the Lowest and Best Bids Submitted by Various Vendors ITB #4658-TW Custodial Supplies - Additional Items Price Spreadsheet (Facilities Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

At the November 22, 2005, School Board Meeting, the Board awarded ITB #4658-TW Custodial Supplies to various vendors. After the award, it was discovered that categories D) Miscellaneous Custodial Products (items 67 and 68), E) Food Service Paper Products and Dispensers, and F) Catalog Percentage Discounts were not included on the Price Spread Sheet. Specifics of the omitted categories were included in the November 22, 2005, agenda. This agenda with the previously approved agenda completes the award of custodial supplies.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

As stated in OPPAGA report: “Efficient purchasing and warehousing requires that management processes be in place to ensure that supplies, equipment and services vital to the school’s education mission are purchased from a competitive source, in the right quantity, delivered timely to the correct location, and stored in a secure location. These criteria should be met for each purchase without sacrificing quality.”
