Approve Agreement with American Industrial Consulting (AIC) (Information and Technology)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

American Industrial Consulting, Inc. (AIC) has provided consulting services to the School District of Hillsborough County to assist with implementing the Lawson Project. Since mid-July 2004, the firm has assisted the Lawson project team with the Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll phase. This agreement extends AIC consulting services an additional five months beginning January 31, 2006 through June 30, 2006. The terms of the agreement provide for the knowledge transfer needed to transition district staff into the technical and functional leadership role for the Lawson implementation.

6.a.3 Provide error edit reports and other quality controls to assist schools in improving accuracy of data entered into the district database.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The cost of $160,000 will be funded from the Lawson Project budget 5002.
