APOLLO BEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) RENOVATION
AWARD OF CONTRACT
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is part of the approved District 2003-2004 Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance work plan and was planned by the firm of A.J. Sanchez Consulting Engineers. The scope of work provides for renovation of HVAC equipment and controls. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, French’s Air Conditioning, is recommended. The starting date will be April 25, 2005 with a projected completion date of January 20, 2006 at 270 calendar days.

Goal 6.a.7 Provide school facility maintenance that allows for uninterrupted student learning (proper electricity, A/C, etc.) as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Funds for this project are included in the District’s approved 2003-2004 PECO maintenance program.
