APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Long & Associates, Inc. Greater Bay Construction Company, Inc. is providing construction management services under their continuing services agreement. The scope of work provides for renovation of the kitchen.

Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for May 12, 2006.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Construction cost is warranted at $526,130. The construction budget is $526,130. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Food Service.
