JEFFERSON, KING AND SPOTO HIGH SCHOOLS
APPROVAL OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
FOR ALL WEATHER TRACK RESURFACING AND INSTALLATION

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Staff has been working with Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department to resurface the tracks with rubberized material at Jefferson and King High Schools and install a new all weather track at Spoto High School. It has been mutually decided that the County will provide funding for these projects and the District will be responsible for the construction of these projects.

It has also been agreed, that these tracks will be made available for County use when not specifically in use by the District, as determined by each individual principal or designee of the respective schools.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8: Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The County has agreed to reimburse the District up to $210,000 for the resurfacing and installation of these all weather tracks.
