EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Rowe Architects. On June 7, 2005, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Mathews Construction. This new facility will relieve overcrowding at Apollo Beach and Ruskin Elementary Schools.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for January 9, 2007.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $10,719,616, which includes $398,933 in extraordinary costs for a turn lane on Fairview Meadows Drive, hurricane shelter costs and the cost to bring the water connection under Fairway Meadows Drive. The construction budget is $10,770,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 04C and Classrooms for Kids.
