EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The existing Carver Center was razed to accommodate the widening of the adjacent interstate highway. As a consequence, the programs were relocated to another facility. The former site of the Bryan Alternative Center was identified as the most suitable location for the replacement facility. The Board previously commissioned the architectural firm of Howard & Associates, Architects, PA to expedite the adaptation of an existing design to house the Carver programs. The Board approved the previously appointed firm of J.O. DeLotto and Sons, Inc. to manage the construction of this new facility.
This change order provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District.
