This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Carruthers & Associates, Architects, P.A. The scope of work provides for painting of the interior of the gymnasium, exterior doors, and metal handrailing, and repair and painting of metal stairs and steel lintels. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, Spectrum, is recommended.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.7 - Provide school facility maintenance that allows for uninterrupted student learning (proper electricity, A/C, etc.) as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

Total funds in the amount of $180,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay. The contract amount being awarded is $50,115.
