This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Ruyle - Hayes + Jennewein. The scope of work provides for exterior painting and water intrusion repairs. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The only bid received excluded all but the painting portion of the requested scope. In light of the need to accomplish painting during the vacant summer period, award of the painting scope to the single qualified bidder, Spectrum Painting and Waterproofing, Inc., is recommended. The bid price on a per square foot basis compares favorably with other low bids for painting from projects with multiple bidders.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.7 - Provide school facility maintenance that allows for uninterrupted student learning (proper electricity, A/C, etc.) as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

Total funds in the amount of $47,660 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill.
