EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Long & Associates, Inc. The scope of work provides for the replacement of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) components, including the condensing units and air handlers. Bids were received on April 11, 2006 (see attachment). Slade Ross was selected since their equipment (York) reflects the basis of design, therefore lowering the overall cost.
Approval of expenditure to Slade Ross will permit the advanced purchase of the condensing units and air handlers. Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2006.
