Approve 2006/2007 Charges for Student Supplies

The School Board annually approves charges, reimbursements, rental fees, etc. to cover the cost of consumable supplies, textbooks, vocational kits, etc.

Category 1 These funds are given to schools for consumable supplies. These funds are supplied by the School Board. Recommend no change.

Category 2 These charges are paid by the students and the books, kits, etc., become the property of the student. Each charge reflects the actual cost of the item.

Category 3 These are rental fees paid by the students.

Category 4 These items are service charges paid by the students and are primarily vocational club dues and similar charges

Category 5 These are optional items including workbooks, paperback novels, etc. that are generally sold through the bookstore.

All District Goals and Critical Success Factors

The School Board is responsible only for Category 1 items. There is no financial impact as there is no increase to fees.
