Approve Elementary and Secondary Student Dress and Grooming Policy
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Dress and Grooming Committee was established to review the current dress and grooming policies for grades K-5 and grades 6-12. In addition, the committee reviewed the current dress code violation consequences and discussed issues related to consistent enforcement of the policy. Input regarding the dress code was also gathered by meeting with the Student Government representatives, Student Forum participants, and via email. Upon approval, the Communications sub-committee will work with our Public Information Office to market the dress code policies to include written communication to be distributed at the school iste as well as on our school district website.
