SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the engineering firm of GLE Associates, Inc. The scope of work provides for the replacement of mechanical system components, including the chillers and air handler. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, Air Mechanical & Service Corporation, is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for August 18, 2006.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.7 - Provide school facility maintenance that allows for uninterrupted student learning (proper electricity, A/C, etc.) as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $247,880 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $247,880.
