This project was planned by the architectural firm of Robbins, Bell & Kreher, Inc. On May 1, 2001, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Kalemeris Construction, Inc. New construction included the addition of four kindergarten classrooms and a new media center. Renovations provided for upgrades to the existing buildings, including door replacement, wall upgrades, and ceiling, flooring, paint, cabinets, plumbing, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) and electrical work.

This change order provides for ceiling framing reinforcement, repair of brick lintels above windows in Building 4, duct mounted smoke detector, relocation of HVAC ductwork, epoxy flooring in kitchen, tackable walls in Building 5, sink for Art room, vinyl composition tile (VCT) flooring in Rooms 221, 222 & 222A, and laminate for cabinets in Room 528 and cubicle in Administration. It also provides a credit for the return of unused contingency funds.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
