Approve Stadium License Agreement with the Tampa Sports Authority for the Blake vs. Middleton High School Football Game, 3:30 p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2006 - $32,000 (Athletics Department)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Blake and Middleton High Schools have a longstanding football rivalry. Consequently, this football game draws extremely large crowds each year that cannot be accommodated at any football stadium in the School District.

A Stadium License Agreement has been developed with the Tampa Sports Authority for usage of Raymond James Stadium for the Blake vs. Middleton football game at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2006 for a facilities usage fee of $32,000. Ticket sales for this popular event will cover the facilities rental fee. The utilization of Raymond James Stadium will allow this tradition to continue for football supporters of Blake and Middleton High Schools. The Stadium License Agreement has been reviewed by the School Board Attorney.
