Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with Jeremy Jackson to Prepare and Deliver Technology Profile Data for District, School, and Teacher In-service Planning Activities.

The Technology Skills Self-Evaluation Survey is used annually to assess teacher technology proficiency. First administered District-wide in 1999-2000, the survey assesses 12 technology competencies that are based on the National Technology Standards for Teachers developed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). For each competency, the educator is shown at one of the following learning stages: Emerging, Entry, Adaptation, or Transformation. The survey data is used to provide teachers with individual technology training profiles to assist them in selecting appropriate technology training activities.

The service provider will input all data and develop district, school, and teacher technology profile data to dessiminate to teachers and administrators. The key activities required of the provider are as follows.
• Scan 13,000 individual teacher technology surveys
• Import data into Filemaker Pro to develop technology profile data.
• Clean up inaccuracies and missing data.
• Merge the data files with district information
• Export merged data into Excel files.

2.b.5 Provide technology skills training and resources for all teachers to improve the effectiveness of instructional delivery.

The cost for the services is allocated from the District technology training budget and will not exceed $4,630.38.

This agreement will be considered fullfilled when all survey data is entered into the data base and designated tasks are satisfactorily completed.
