Approve the Proposed Contract for Student Nutrition Services Meals - Charter School Sites (Business Division)

Student Nutrition Services (SNS) has been asked to provide meal service to selected Charter Schools for the 2006-2007 school year under the National School Lunch Program. The School District claims federal reimbursement for eligible student meals; the Charter School is responsible for following the procedures for meal accountability and paying for Student Nutrition Services meals that do not qualify as free or reduced. A separate contract is created for each site. A list of the Charter Schools that are requesting meal service and a copy of the contract are attached for your information.

Goal 6: All schools in the District will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.

Projected net profit is $6,871 based on revenue from fees charged, less program expenditures.
