Approve Contract with Paragon Marketing Group, LLC to Televise the Jefferson High School vs. Armwood High School Varsity Football Game, September 15, 2006 - $1,000 (Athletics Department)

Paragon Marketing Group, LLC (PMG) has approached the Athletics Department for exclusive rights to televise the Jefferson vs. Armwood High School varsity football game on September 15, 2006, on ESPNU. Paragon Marketing Group, LLC has provided proof of liability insurance for this event and will pay the district $1,000. This contract has been reviewed and approved by the School Board Attorney.

A live telecast will give the schools and the School District national exposure and the contract also allows ESPNU to use the game tape for repeat airings.

All District Goals and Critical Success Factors

The District will receive $1,000 compensation for ESPNU to televise this game. Funds will be placed in the district general operating budget. All production and venue costs associated with the telecast are the responsibility of Paragon Marketing Group, LLC and ESPN. There is no additional cost to the District.
