Approve Agreement to Reimburse Parent for Transportation of Child By Private Vehicle for 2006/2007 School Year.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Through mediation, a recommendation has been made for the District to reimburse the parents for transporting their child to and from Plant City High School as per the provisions of Chapter 6A-3.017(11b, State Board of Education Administration Rules). Attached is a summary of the agreement that is being submitted for approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
Funds have been allocated in the Transportation Department’s budget (9780;101;7800.391.610.6680) for reimbursement of the parent. The reimbursement will be based on two round trips at the rate of $.37 per mile each day this student is in attendance at school for the period of August 3, 2006 through May 24, 2007.
