ACCEPTANCE OF PROJECT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

During the construction of Nelson Elementary School, a code violation was discovered in the design of the boiler room. The Nelson Elementary School design was reused for Chiles and Ippolito Elementary Schools. The architect of record, Woodroffe Corporation Architects, provided design services for the remediation of the boiler room at the referenced schools. JBD Construction provided construction management services under their continuing services agreement.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The architect agreed to reimburse the District in the amount of $4,921. Funding was derived from 2 Mill.
