EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
An Agreement for Technical Services has been developed with Carmen S. Austin, Wharton High School Science Department Chairperson and Advanced Placement Biology teacher, to plan, design, and produce an instructional unit on new technology in microscopy.
A draft of the instructional unit will be presented at the October Secondary Science Professional Study Day. The completed unit will be used in the district Biology Honors and Advanced Placement Biology classes. The unit will also be available to the Florida High Tech Corridor Council to complement and extend techPATH microscopy teacher workshops in other counties.
