SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 22, 2005, the Board appointed Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects and Greater Bay Construction Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. This facility is a reuse of the Pizzo Elementary School design. As of the current boundaries, relief will be provided for Citrus Park, McKitrick, Northwest, and Schwarzkopf Elementary Schools.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for June 25, 2007.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $11,927,498. The construction budget is $12,210,579. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2002 and Classrooms for Kids 2005.
