EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
WIA funding allows adults to access technical, career, and adult education programs. These programs are provided at Aparicio-Levy, Brewster, Erwin, and Learey Technical Centers; Tampa Bay Technical Evening Center; and Adult and Community Education Centers throughout the county. WIA provides funds for tuition, books, fees, uniforms, and related supportive services.
During the 2005/2006 school year, approximately 68 WIA clients were students in our technical centers, of which 39 were enrolled in health programs which require drug testing.
