Approve Renewal Contract with West Coast Wrestling Officials, Inc. for Athletic Contests, 2006/2007 - $21,452 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Each year the School District negotiates a contract with West Coast Wrestling Officials, Inc. for the purpose of providing varsity and junior varsity wrestling officials for scheduled high school contests. The renewal contract includes increased fees of $2 per official due to increased fuel costs.
Professional athletic officials ensure unbiased and fair officiating at athletic events.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The contract amount of $21,452 includes the officiating fee increases of $2 per official for a total increase of $1,717 over last year’s contract. The $21,452 contract cost is included in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction Athletics Department budget. There is no additional cost to the district.
