APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - $106,183.82 EXTRA

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Rowe Architects. On June 7, 2005, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Mathews Construction. This new facility will relieve overcrowding at Summerfield and Collins Elementary Schools.

This change order provides for remediation of soils containing organic materials below slab on grade.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 04C and Classrooms for Kids.
