Approve Agreement for the School Resource Officer Program with the City of Tampa (Administration Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board annually approves an agreement with the City of Tampa for the placement of Resource Officers in our secondary schools. The agreement with the City of Tampa for the School Resource Officer Program is administered by the City’s Police Department for the period August 1, 2006, through July 31, 2007. The participating law enforcement agencies in the School Resource Officer Program pay 50% of the program cost.

The total expenditure of this request is $1,230,989.50. This sum is already funded in the Division of Administration budget.
