Community Tampa Bay Presentation
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Community Tampa Bay formerly known as the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ), has a fifty-five year history of educating youth and adults to become leaders and advocates for inclusion. In 2005 they became incorporated as an independent non-profit and adopted the name Community Tampa Bay to better reflect our regional scope and ties to the community.
Community Tampa Bay conducts Unity Days in elementary, middle, or high schools with different curricula for different age groups. Every Unit Day is preceded by a planning session with key individuals from the school (usually the principal, leaders of the student body, and the AP for curriculum development).
