Before the proposed boundary change, the new Oak Park Elementary will have 372 students with a capacity for 721 students. Translated to capacity by rooms, Oak Park Elementary will have 41 rooms, but will require only 24 rooms.

After the proposed boundary change, DeSoto Elementary will have 243 students with space for 322 students. Translated to capacity by rooms, DeSoto Elementary will have 17 rooms and need 15 rooms to house the 243 students. Oak Park Elementary will have 528 students and capacity for 721 students. Translated to capacity by rooms, Oak Park Elementary will have 41 rooms and need 35 rooms to house the 528 students.
