This project was planned by the engineering firm of A.J. Sanchez Consulting Engineer, Inc. On April 19, 2005, the Board appointed the firm of French's Air Conditioning. The scope of work provided for the renovation of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

Change Order No. 1 provides for fireproofing of existing corridor walls, fire rated panels to wall control units in Rooms 58 and 59, additional wire supports to existing lights, and replacement of circuit breakers for new chillers. Change Order No. 2 provides for five additional air fans. Change Order No. 3 provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program. The 257 calendar day time extension is due to the test and balance report not being received.

The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.
