APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - $185,094.25 EXTRA / 30 CALENDAR DAY TIME EXTENSION

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On September 7, 2004, the Board appointed Long & Associates and R.J. Bunbury Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services for classroom additions at Crestwood, Egypt Lake, Mendenhall, and Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary Schools. Roosevelt Elementary School was omitted due to budget and cost issues. The scope of work provides for the addition of 8 primary classrooms and replacement of the fire alarm and intercom systems throughout the existing facility.

This change order provides for removal and replacement of unsuitable soil. A time extension is included for completion of the work.
