EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On July 11, 2006, the Board appointed Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects and J.O. DeLotto & Sons, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities will provide walkway lighting where required, Americans with Disabilities (ADA) signage, storm drainage improvements, various upgrades throughout the campus to include digital thermostats, kitchen hood fans, computer and graphics package, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) controls, remodel of kitchen dry storage, repair of damaged walkway canopies, repainting of building interiors and exteriors, reconfiguration of Administrative Suite for improved operations, replacement of sinks, faucets, and water coolers to provide ADA accessibility, new lever handle hardware for doors, main electrical distribution panel and panel boards in each building, light fixtures, exterior doors and frames, kitchen walk-in cooler/freezer, serving line, hot food well and frost top, and security, telecommunications, clock and closed circuit television (CCTV) systems.
Approval of the schematic design phase will allow the architect to proceed with design development documents. Project completion is scheduled for April 2008.

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
This project is currently funded at $3,300,000. The estimate of probable cost is $3,297,630. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Community Investment Tax (CIT) 06.
