SITE WORK
APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On January 17, 2006, the Board appointed The Architectural Practice, Inc. and Ellis Construction Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. This new facility is a reuse of the Collins Elementary School design. As of the current boundaries, relief will be provided for Bryant Elementary School.

The site work includes onsite and offsite utilities, paving, and earthwork required for the construction of the school.

Approval of Amendment No. 2 will permit construction of the site work. Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2007.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Construction cost is warranted at $3,295,132. The construction budget is $3,295,132. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill.
