ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On January 17, 2006, the Board appointed The Architectural Practice, Inc. and Ellis Construction Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. This new facility is a reuse of the Collins Elementary School design. As of the current boundaries, relief will be provided for Bryant Elementary School.

On January 16, 2007, the Board approved an interlocal agreement with Hillsborough County to construct an extension of Citrus Park Drive to provide ingress and egress to the school.

Approval of Amendment No. 3 will permit construction of the road improvements. Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2007.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Construction cost is warranted at $1,241,002. The construction budget is $1,241,002. The County has agreed to reimbuse the District for the road improvements. Therefore, there is no financial impact to the District.
