EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On July 11, 2006, the Board appointed Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc. and Mathews Construction of Tampa, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities will provide a new walkway canopy and fire sprinkler system, reconfiguration of driveways and visitor parking, interior and exterior painting, and replacement of roof, plumbing fixtures, exterior doors, low voltage systems, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.
Approval of the schematic design phase will allow the architect to proceed with design development documents. Project completion is scheduled for July 2008.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The project is currently funded at $3,450,000. The estimate of probable cost is $3,447,840. This item is included in the Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction 06-07 and Community Investment Tax (CIT) 06.
