On March 12, 2002, the Board approved the appointment of Rick Rados Architecture and Cutler Associates to design and construct a replacement facility for the Gary Adult Center. On April 6, 2004, the Board reassigned the architectural agreement to Wilder Architecture, Inc. On May 3, 2005, the Board reassigned the construction management agreement to Peter R. Brown Construction, Inc. The scope of work provided a replacement facility for the Gary Adult Center.

Change Order No. 1 provides credits for the final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase and Owner Controlled Insurance Programs. Change Order No. 2 provides a credit for project savings. It also provides for additional life safety signage, ventilation at elevator machine room, and general conditions for delays associated with the delivery of power and water.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
